Bright and fun notation double-sided flashcards that have been proven to improve student’s note recognition and help in their learning of musical instruments.
These can be played at home by the student on their own, or with a parent/sibling to join in the learning fun. My students have loved playing with these flashcards in our piano lessons and I have seen first-hand the improvement these cards bring with the students’ note recognition and their reading of music.
Included in the download are the following items:
- 24 notation double-sided flashcards (48 individual pictures),
- 1 progress summary table to log progress and highlight areas to work on further,
- An activity sheet, suggesting multiple ways to play with these flashcards.
There are additional flashcards available which focus on other musical theory elements. Why not collect the full set?

I have purchased all of the rainbow flash cards now for my piano studio. They are a very good teaching tool . Highly recommended
