This Guide to Tones and Semitones workbook takes the student through understanding what tones and semitones are:

1. It starts by looking at how notes move in steps and skips and how to spot them on the stave.
2. It discusses the half-step before introducing the English terms for steps and half-steps.
3. This workbook then looks at the role of sharps and flats.

There are also activities to help reinforce your students learning.
