Use this resource pack to introduce or revise chord inversions to your students.
Teaching aim – to develop an understanding of chord positions
Focus – C major, F major and G major chords in the root position, first inversion and second inversion.
Includes:
- A memorable story, to explain the concept of chord positions
- A printable stave page, owls and flashcards, for students to practise building chords
- 5 game pages, to consolidate understanding
- A chord identification activity page
Two versions of the story and chord identification pages are supplied – one to use on screen, the other to print.
The games can be used on screen, or as printable games.
