Use this game to practise note reading in the bass and treble clef.

Use as a printable game, or screen-share to play in online lessons.

8 game boards cover different ranges of notes, including:

• Middle C hand position
• Bass clef
• Treble clef
• Ledger lines above and below the stave, in the treble and bass clef

How to play the game

• Choose a game board. Decide who is Player A, and who is Player B.
• Players take turns to roll a dice to select note.
• The player should identify the note. If the note name is included in their set, the player may cross off the note name.
• The first player to cross off all of their note names is the winner!
• A single player can play against the dice – how many rolls of the dice do they need to cross off all of their note names?
• Page 4 and page 7 are aimed at beginner pianists who are using the Middle C hand position.
