MTB Scales Progress Trackers

These MTB scales progress trackers are a very easy way to write down, discuss and track progress with students.  There are pre-defined templates for Music Teachers’ Board (MTB) Grade 1 to Grade 4 and empty templates to write in your own student specific scales & arpeggios.

Using the circle system:

• Define 4 key areas needed to play a scale or arpeggio accurately, fluently, musically and rhythmically.
• Write in comments next to each scale & arpeggio defining areas for improvement.
• When you master an area, colour in a quarter.
• Put a sticker on the circle when completed.

You can give them a copy of the tracker to focus their practice at home.
