Piano Chords Workbooks | All Major and Minor Keys 25% off
£39.00
These two bumper all-in-one chord workbooks includes piano chords built up from every major and minor key.
The major and minor keys in the workbooks are ordered around the circle of fifths, with chords shapes for each major key shown visually on keyboard diagrams. This helps you look up the key of your piece and quickly see all the chords you are likely to play!
You’ll also find useful worksheets to help you work out chords in any major key, transpose songs into different keys, figure out good voice leading and work out the most common chord sequences.
This book focuses on applied chord theory that will help you create live music, accompany and transpose. You’ll encounter theory concepts like intervals, inversions, slash chords, chord quality (major, minor, etc), and Roman numeral analysis that you can apply to your own music making.
Includes and ink-friendly version for printing.

This a very useful and effective teaching resource. I’ve been wanting something like this for years! I like to teach harmony at the piano, before notation, for the student to find the patterns of chords hidden in sound and shape in the patterns of black and white notes. As such, and as a follow on from this introductory work at the piano, the scaffolding of this resource allows students to clearly reconstruct (and therefore remember the constructional concepts) chords as they rediscover them through their own activity as they colour in the formats. The ‘big picture’, the landscape within the keys, becomes quickly and readily apparent. The transition to patterns in notation is a much easier process after this work. I use this great resource in conjunction with the course Chords 1 and 2 from SuperSonics by Daniel MacFarlane. A winning combination for my students! Solid foundations! Thank you!
This is a great resource. It’s one thing to have a theoretical understanding of the chords. But quite another to actually draw them in on a piano keyboard. A clever way of deepening understanding.
Excellent resources. Really useful for helping students with identifying, analysing and playing all chords in root position and their inversions. Also helpful when supporting students doing GCSE.

I am very excited about this workbook. For the first time, I understand the logic of chords and the different keys. I love the simple and therefore very appealing structure and the practical applicability of the book. A great resource!
I am student that has been using this book to learn some theory and apply to pieces I am learning. It’s very clear and simple to understand and I have been surprised at how quickly it has changed my thought process and recognition of chords/broken chords in pieces I am playing. This in turn has helped me simplify what I am reading, recognise patterns and memorize more easily, rather than looking at a lot of notes and wondering how I will ever be able to play them. It’s a great resource and really helping me.
