Saying Goodbye by Helen Morris is an expressive pre-grade 1 piece in a fixed position. Teenagers will love this easy but satisfying short piece. It can be played with both thumbs on C if that is what the student is used to, but only has A G and F in the LH so it is more comfortable playing with LH thumb on A. Good introduction to legato pedalling.
