Scales cards and progress trackers are a great way to track which scales and arpeggios you / your students are learning.

These scales cards and progress trackers are tailored to the Music Teachers’ Board (MTB) 2020 syllabus and cover Grades 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5.

They are a wonderful tool to help with exam preparation. Keep the cards in a jar, tin or envelope and pick one at random to play during a practice session or in a lesson. If further work is required, put the card to one side and start with this for your next practice session; this ensures that you don’t just play the scales you know well and that you are always striving to improve! Carry on picking cards at random and playing a good selection of scales, arpeggios and technical exercises in each practice session or lesson.

The progress trackers can help students focus on four key elements required to master scales and arpeggios. They enable teachers to easily track how each student is  doing and focus on areas needing improvement.
