Description
You might be familiar with Barbara Arens’ ‘One Hand Piano’ (‘One Hand Piano 2’ will be published any day now…) Having pupils frequently suffering from sports injuries, as well as being familiar with a number of musical people with permanebt disabilities, only allowing them to play with one hand, she has been inspired to write engaging, expressive pieces within the restrictions of what one hand is comfortably capable of. This racy Tango might be the perfect piece for a fairly advanced pupil who can – temporarily or long-term – only play with one hand.
