C Position Note Recognition Dice with an Under the Sea theme.
This game has been a FAVORITE in my studio. We have nicknamed the game “Rolling Roman” after my student Roman who became hooked on piano lessons after this game!
I have included 3 dice for you to use.
Die 1: Has Treble C, D, and E. I use this die with Piano Pronto Prelude for the first several songs that only feature C, D, and E.
Die 2: Has Treble C-G and a “Bonus” side. This die is fantastic for drilling note naming on the right hand. If the student rolls the die, they receive double the points on the following roll.
Die 3: Has Bass C-G and a “Bonus” side. This die is fantastic for drilling note naming on the left hand. If the student rolls the die, they receive double the points on the following roll.
These die have many applications and you may just find that your students ask to play “Rollin Roman” week after week.
This is a digital download. The die are a little over 2 inches when constructed. I recommend printing on cardstock and use glue or double-sided tape.
If your students love the Under the Sea theme, check out our other Under the Sea games! We love playing Under the Sea Boardgame that also reinforces note recognition and Note Fishing which is a fun quick game of Go Fish that reinforces C Position note recognition.
