Use this Christmas game to establish a strong understanding of skips, steps and repeated notes.

Use as a printable game.  Or play online using a platform that allows screen-sharing and annotation.

Print the interval cards on both sides for the best effect (intervals on one side, penguins, snowmen, polar bears and reindeer on the other).  If this is not possible, just print the pages with the intervals (missing out the Christmas images intended for the back of the cards).

Players take turns to identify the interval on a card, and move forwards around the gameboard:

• 1 space for a repeated note
• 2 spaces for a step
• 3 spaces for a skip

The first person to reach the ‘Finish’ position is the winner!
